THE communication which we publish in another column in regard to this year's Index is only one instance of the many complaints we have heard in regard to the many inaccuracies in the book. It is unfortunate that the book has been compiled with such carelessness that grave and inexcusable errors appear on nearly every page. The book is unsafe for public reference.
