We are very sorry to have made a misstatement on Saturday in speaking of the proceeds arising from the sale of tickets for the grand stand. Owing to a misunderstanding it was announced that all the profits would go to the university crew, whereas we now understand that half of the profits are to go towards defraying the expenses of the class crews, while the other half is to go to the university crew. It is the management of the university crew which is arranging for the grand stand and taking all the risks for damages and the like. It is only right, then, that it should have its portion of the proceeds. Moreover it is a distinct advantage to the college to be able to give the crew financial support in this way.
