There will be no lecture in Fine Arts IV today.

On Monday there will be no recitation in Latin I.

The Freshman Glee Club netted $100 from their crew concert.

The University of Chicago recently purchased by cablegram from Berlin a library of 280,000 volumes, including 200 manuscripts dating from the eighth to the nineteenth century.

Phillip Allen, captain of the Yale '90 crew, is in New Haven coaching the crew and will probably remain for some time. The new steam launch Yale is now in use daily by the coach and is giving entire satisfaction. Bob Cook is also in New Haven doing a little coaching.

G. V. Brokaw of New York, has contributed $42,000 towards erecting a memorial building on the proposed new Brokaw memorial athletic grounds.

The new site for Columbia College, near the Riverside Park, has been settled and the first payment of $200,000 has been made.
