The idea of holding a mock nominating convention in Sanders Theatre on Friday is certainly taking. Besides being entertaining in itself, it will give a very fair notion of what the national convention is like. The mock convention is one of those things which will be a great success if the men will take of it in the right spirit and determination to carry it off well. We understand that each man is to sit with his own state as in the regular convention, and that presidential nominations will be made for all parties. With the large portion of the college which ought to be present, the results of the voting will be rather instructive and full of meaning. The scheme is a good one, and with the support it deserves, it ought to be very successful.
