We should like to call the attention of '94 and '95 men to the notice of a meeting of candidates for the CRIMSON this evening at half past seven. Probably few of them have ever thought of trying for the paper or even know how they should set about to do it. We feel sure that there are many who if they gave the matter a little serious thought would enjoy a chance to work on the paper. The training which such work gives, is not merely of use to those who intend to take up journalism, but is of great value to a man while he is still in college. It gives a certain insight into the workings of the college which he would otherwise know little about, and also throws a man into contact with interesting people and varied aspects of college life. In some degree, too, the paper is, we feel, a help to the college and gives an earnest man a chance to make his influence felt. We hope that a number of men even if they may not have definitely made up their minds to try for the paper, will attend the meeting this evening to see what the work consists of.
