Dr. Frank Angell of the Sage School of Philosophy, Cornell University, has accepted the chair of physiological psychology, at Stanford University.
Professor William Julian Bryan of the University of Indiana, has been called to the head of the department of Philosophy, in Leland Stanford Jr. University. It is rumored, however, that he will decline.
J. S. Roddy, of Princeton, is writing a series of articles for Les Sportes Athletiques, published in Paris, on the "Methods of Athletic Training in America;" the articles will shortly appear in book form.
Emperor William has sent through Prof. Max Muller of Oxford University, a telegram to the Oxford University boat crew, congratulating them upon their defeat of the Cambridge crew, last Saturday.
The rowing association composed of Columbia, Cornell and University of Pennsylvania, will row their annual regatta on Cayuga Lake, at Ithaca, instead of on the Hudson, as proposed. Columbia will be unable to enter a representative crew this year.
