The prospects are very bright for a successful base ball season. The schedule this year provides for more games than ever, the great majority of which are to be played in Cambridge. Then the Yale games are to be renewed, and the college is to see what for it (except for the senior class) is a wholly new spectacle - a base ball game with Princeton. A departure is made from last year, in confining the matches almost wholly to college nines, and not to professional teams. This will give the added interest of college sport. The nine is working hard, and has excellent material. From all appearances, the season should be one of the best in Harvard base ball history.
