The Freshman Glee Club will give its first concert in Malden Friday night. The 40 men who were selected on trial have been cut down to 28 and will probably be reduced to 25 or 26 in a few days. The club is decidedly above the average freshman glee club and the men follow their leader very well. The tenor parts, especially the second tenors, are weak. The second bass is the strongest part and will probably be the one to be cut down. Three of the men are on the 'varsity and five more are on trial with it. As yet no quartette or soloists have been chosen. The Cambridge concert will be given in the first of May. Arrangements have been made for concerts at Salem, Jamaica Plain, and Newton.
