To the Editors of the Crimson:

So long as the accounts of the University Training Table Association remain unpublished there must of course remain considerable difficulty in settling the exact cause of the debt incurred by it. At the same time it seems probable that far too much blame is put on the shoulders of the treasurer by the public. He is the only person at present intimately connected with the affairs of the Association and adverse criticism of any kind on the Association in general seems to fall on him. There seems to have been no centralizing of the entire management of the affairs of the Association in one man who could have given most of his time to it. Various errors of management were made but by different men. Until the accounts appear and something definite is known it is certainly unjust to blame any one man.
