An important meeting of the St. Paul's Society was held last evening. It was decided to give a social next Wednesday evening at eight o'clock in 10 Holworthy and Mr. Parker will speak informally on Oxford, where he studied for some time. The two socials last year were very successful and have encouraged the society to hold five this year, two of which have already been given.
Mr. Tuckerman, of Boston, an ex-president of the society, was elected a trustee from the society to act with others in regard to the funds for the proposed religious building. Saville, Ladd, and Morse were appointed as an executive committee to represent the society at the conference on this building. Messrs. White and Saville were chosen delegates to the Church Students Missionary Society, which will meet in Alexandria, Virginia, during the earlier part of January. Dr. King of Christ Church has put at the disposal of the society his church and choir for a series of four sermons to be delivered during the winter by bishops and prominent men in the Episcopal Church. A committee was appointed to make the necessary arrangements. It was also voted to ask Dr. Donald of Trinity to give an address at the social which is to be held immediately after the Christmas recess.
