The B. A. A. held the second meeting of the series for the all-round indoor championship, last Monday evening. The club's record for the three standing jumps were broken by O. W. Shead '93, who clearel 31 feet 1 1/2 inches in the all-round contest, but afterwards when given extra trials with H. C. Moffitt and W. B. Hyler cleared 31 feet 2 1/4 inches This beats the B. A. A.'s record by 6 1/4 inches. Moffit in his extra trials cleared 30 feet 6 3-4 inches. Shead also won both the high jump and fence vault but failed to equal the records of the B A. A. which he himself holds.
The winners of prizes on the basis of handicaps were as follows: - Standing high jump: C. J. Paine, first; B. Bloss '94 and W. B. Hyler tied for second. Fence vault: C. J. Paine, firs; O. W. Shead second. Three standing jumps: O. W. Shead, first and W. B. Hyler, second.
The aggregate number of points made by the first three men are: Shead, 511; Moffit, 499; and Bloss, 484.
