A hospital for dogs has been established in connection with the University of Pennsylvania.

The Manhattan Athletic Club of New York is considering the advisability of dropping athletics entirely for a year in order to curtail expenses. At present the expenses for training and equipping men for track athletics, baseball, football, and rowing averages about $25,000 a year.
Tuesday afternoon President Adams of the University of Wisconsin called a meeting of the faculty and the students to form a Boating Association. A corporation with a capital of $4,500 was formed and instructed to build a boat house and to make arrangements to put a crew on the water.
