MR. H. B. Turner, chaplain of Hampton Institute, will deliver a public lecture this evening in Boylston Hall on the Institute and the work done there. Hampton Institute was founded not many years ago as an educational school for negroes and Indians. The work there has been carried on by a few earnest minded men who have gathered at the Institute each year many negroes and Indians and given them a good ordinary education. Mr. Turner has taken an active part in the Institute and his lecture, with stereopticon views, will be especially interesting to us.
