Harvard Union.

The Union held a meeting last evening in Sever 11, the purpose being to select representitives for the Yale debate which is to be held Jan. 13. Dean Briggs, Professor Taussig and Mr. Hayes were the judges and after being out forty minutes returned the names of four men, M. C. McLaughlin, '93, A. P. Stone, '93, C. Vrooman '95 and E. H. Warren, '95, of whom they said the Union might select the three speakers for the Yale debate.

While the judges were out the Union held a business meeting and after much debating voted to have judges at the Yale debate.

The subject for the competitive debate was: Resolved, That the Power of Railroad Corporations in the United States should be further controlled by the Government.
