Entries in singles and doubles, (entrance fee $1.50 in singles and $1.00 for each man in doubles), must be made in the blue book at Leavitt and Peirce's before Saturday, October 15th, at 6 p. m. First, second and consolation prizes in singles, first, and second in doubles and a championship prize will be given.
T. HOPPIN, Sec.The Third Universalist Church, North Cambridge, extends an invitation to the students of the university to attend its services, and have set apart a pew for their use. The church is situated just above the railroad bridge on North Avenue, a little over ten minutes walk from Harvard Square and about five minutes ride on the street cars. Rev. Charles W. Biddle, D. D., is pastor. The services are preaching, 10.30 a.m.: Sunday School, 12.05 p.m.; young people's meeting, 6 p.m. evening services, 7.30 p.m. Social meetings occur on the second Thursday of each month.
All new members of Harvard University who have ever attended the English High School of Boston, are earnestly requested to send their names and addresses at once to the secretary of the English High School Association.
