Ninety-five has the opportunity to put tonight an end to the rush. It is the sophomore class that begins it and if they refuse to do so they will receive the gratitude of the whole university. We appeal to Ninety-five to take a common sense view of the matter and to make this needful change for reform. If Ninety-five fails to do this we appeal to Ninety-six to refuse to rush with them. Ninety-six can start creditably in college life by making this change, which, once begun, will put an end forever to rushing.

We feel certain that the predominating element in the two lower classes must have the sense to feel the force of our appeal and that tonight will see the end of this objectionable custom.
