WE print in another column the official statistics of the voting of the University and the Faculty. Every possible opportunity has been given to all to vote, and the returns have been very satisfactory.
As was to be expected the University as a whole has gone Republican; the majority of undergraduates have gone Republican, while the graduate departments, with the exception of the Medical and Dental Schools have gone Democratic. A curious incident is the result of the voting of the Graduate School, which goes Democratic by a majority of one. The table has been made out with great care and is sufficiently self explanitoy.
We wish to thank the members of the University for their kindness in assisting us in the work, and the majority of the Faculty who have stated to us their preference.
