The senior eleven defeated the Andover team at Andover yesterday by a score of 36 to 0. Andover was weakened by the absence of four of her regular team, three of the missing men being backs, one the quarter-back, so that the high score was due much more to Andover's weakness than to any good work on the part of ninety-three. The game consisted of a thirty-minute and a twenty-minute, half, and in the first half the seniors scored six touch-downs, from which two goals were kicked, in the second, two touch-downs.
In spite of the large score the game was rather discouraging than otherwise, as very little team play could be discovered and most of the gains were made from sheer weight.
The seniors lined up as follows: Pierce, l. e., Pike, l. t., Chew, l. g., Brice, c., Earle, r. g., Cary, r. t., Dibblees, r. e., Stevens, q. b., Jackson and McAllister, l. h. b., Parker and Robb, r. h. b., Duffield, f. b.
