THE annual fall tennis tournament will begin next Monday, and this will be the last week for entries. It is hardly necessary for us to refer to the importance of this tournament in respect to developing good men to represent us at the inter-collegiate tournament. This latter tournament is growing yearly to be a prominent part of inter-collegiate athletics, and though it has not the significance of the other games, it is an interesting feature of our fall sports and deserves good support. Last year the tournament was one of decided success, the entries were large and the interest taken brought out a number of good players. This year the entrance fee has been reduced, and good prizes have been offered, and there is no reason why the tournament cannot be made even more successful than last year.
