Saturday night, Vance McCormick of Harrisburg, Pa., was elected captain of the Yale 'varsity foot ball team - the other candidate for the captaincy being L. Bliss.
McCormick is a member of the class of '93, Sheffield Scientific School, a graduate of Andover in '90, and was captain of last year's freshman base ball and foot ball teams. He played full-back on the 'varsity eleven last fall only.
