B. A. A. Handicap Games.

Harvard made a good showing at the handicap games held on the Irvington Oval yesterday afternoon.

In the 100 yards dash T. J. Stead '91, 6 yards, C. G. Davis '94, 9 yards, G. F. Brown '92, scratch, won their heats in 10 1-5, 10 2-5, and 10 3-5 sec. respectively. Davis won the final with Stead second in 10 1-5 sec. W. F. Thompson '93 then ran against the B. A. A. record, lowering it from 10 3-5 to 10 2-5 seconds.

Stead, scratch, got second in his heat of the 440 yards run, but did not start in the finals. W. D. Boardman '92, 12 yards, won his heat in 55 2-5 sec., and got second in the finals to Coombs, Trimount A. C., in 56 4-5 seconds.

Finlay '91, who was scratch in putting the shot, was too heavily handicapped to secure a place. His best legitimate put was 38 feet, a foul unfortunately spoiling a put of 40 feet, 8 inches.
