Tennis Tournament.

The following matches will be played today: At 11.15, Tallant vs. Barron; Torrey vs. Earle. At 11.30, Tallant and Wildes vs. Page Bros. At 2.00 p. m., winner of Tallant-Barron vs. Lockett. At 4 p. m., Bailey and Pillsbury vs. winner of Rhoades and Duane; Cummin and Spaulding.

Forfeits will be allowed fifteen minutes after the time matches are called. Leave scores with man at court.

Nearly all of the matches yesterday were close, even with the handicaps. In the match between Orcutt and Hurd and Lockett and Hunt, the handicap was too large, but nevertheless the scores were quite large. In the singles Tallant and Barron both won a set and stopped on account of the rain. The match between Earle and Rhoades was very close. Rhoades had one set and five games to two in the second, and Earle made a terrific brace, winning the second and third sets.

The finals will be played on Friday. The scores yesterday were as follows: Torrey beat Magee, 2-6, 6-2, 6-4; Earle beat Rhoades 5-6, 6-5, 6-2. Doubles: Lockett and Hunt (with 15, owed 15) beat Orcutt and Hurd 5-6, 6-1, 7-5; Bailey and Pillsbury beat Earle and Davis (with 15) 4-6, 6-5, 6-2.
