The freshmen play Exeter this afternoon on Jarvis at half past three, special permission having been obtained to begin at this hour instead of four. Dickinson will take Alward's place in left field on the 'varsity, as the latter is temporarily laid up. The freshmen must therefore find a new man to play first base for them today, and R. E. Paine will be tried. Minton is ill and will not be able to play again this year. Highlands, who used to pitch for the Fall River High School team, will probably be put in the box against Yale on the thirtieth. Other changes may be made in the team before the Yale game. Linnfield, who is now substitute, will very likely change places with Quigley who is now playing at short. The following games will be played before the nine disbands: Today, with Exeter at Cambridge; Saturday, May 23, with Thomson-Houston Electrics, at Cambridge; Monday, May 25, with the Cambridge High and Latin School; Wednesday, May 27, with the Manual Training School; Saturday, May 30, with Yale at New Haven.
