College base ball games on Wednesday resulted in the defeat of Dartmouth by Williams 22 to 8; and of Brown by Yale 11 to 7. Yale got 14 hits with a total of 24 from Woodcock.

At the Columbia College athletic sports on Wednesday Victor and Herbert Mapes established some records that come perilously near some of the intercollegiate records. In the 120 yards hurdle H. Mapes beat his own record of last May, time 16 2-5 seconds. V. Mapes covered the 220 yards dash in 22 4-5 seconds. He also jumped 22 feet 9 1-4 inches in the running broad.
