The letter was unanimously adopted by the meeting as the expression of its feelings.
Rantoul then announced that Professor Peabody and Dr. Brooks were willing to conduct a memorial service in Appleton Chapel, and he moved that such a service be held at the time that the funeral occurred. After favoring the motion unanimously, the meeting adjourned.
A telegram from Perkins '91 last night stated that the funeral of Adelbert Shaw will take place near noon Friday. The memorial service in Appleton Chapel will therefore be held at an hour to be announced in tomorrow's CRIMSON. Rev. J. D. Phelps of Malden, who was at one time a teacher of Shaw's at a Wesleyan Academy on the Hudson, will probably assist at the service.
