We are very glad to be able to commend the management of the Harvard Rowing Club for their work. The boat house was opened to the college something over a year ago, and since that time the use to which it has been put by the college has been steadily growing. From present accounts the affairs of the club are in a very prosperous condition; and the boat house bids fair fully to accomplish the purposes for which it was given to the college-to furnish more men a chance to exercises on the river and in this way to strengthen our boating interests. One evidence of the development of men and interest is the goodly number of entries for the scratch races to be held tomorrow. Take it all in all, the affairs of the club seem to be "booming." The most welcome thanks which the college could give to Mr. Weld is this knowledge that his gift is accomplishing just the purpose which he had in mind.
