There are other sides of the question which come up, but those we have mentioned seem to be the principal. The faculty, we understand, is now considering the arguments for these two plans; and is very soon to decide which method they shall adopt for next year. In their vote on the question we trust they will be influenced somewhat by the opinion of the students on a matter which so nearly concerns the latter. We cannot pretend that our view on the subject is the accurate expression of the whole college; because the students have not yet had a chance to discuss the matter thoroughly. But from as thorough a canvass as we have been able to make and from our own views, we should say rather decidedly that the great body of students is in favor of the second scheme, namely, to put the extra recitation hour from one till two.
We hope that the faculty in taking their vote will bear in mind this preference of the great student body.
