We are very glad that Columbia has seen fit to admit the Yale freshmen into the race with Harvard. Harvard has been anxious to row Yale a freshman race for some time, but her unwritten agreements with Columbia have seemed to prevent it. We hope that the success of the new plan will ensure the annual arrangement of freshman races between Harvard and Yale.
