The annual meeting of the Harvard Free Wool Club last night marks the beginning of the third year of the life of this organization. Though it was begun as a tariff reform club, the character of the men who filled its membership made it evident that as new and more urgent political questions arose the club would continue to take a liberal stand and fulfill rather the purpose of a general reform club than that which its name would imply. In getting Mr. Breckenridge and Mr. Moorfield Storey to make addresses on interesting political questions the Club has earned the thanks of the University; and similar talks from any of the representative Harvard men mentioned on the front page should receive the encouragement of every liberal minded friend of the University.
