Thomas '92 and Jenkins '94 have lately joined the football squad.
Edward Clark, formerly of Exeter '89, has just been elected captain of the Technology 'varsity football team. Clark is from Buffalo and played quarter-back on the eleven last fall.
The first eight-oared shell provided with outriggers, was built in 1846, and was used in the Oxford-Cambridge race of that year. In 1873 the sliding seat was used for the first time.
