In speaking of the Mott Haven games we are reminded of a point of detail in the management of the Winter Meetings now close at hand. It has been brought forward that the members of the Mott Haven team receive very little public recognition for their services; and it has been suggested that, in view of this fact, the members of the old Mott Haven team be the ushers at the Winter Meetings. This is a matter of detail for the executive committee of the H. A. A. to decide. Such action would certainly establish a good precedent in giving the position of usher some significance; and it might lead to good results more important than first appears. At any rate, if the H. A. A. is looking for a way to give the members of the Mott Haven team a little deserved recognition, here is its chance.
