Wolfe '92, has been elected captain of the Cornell 'varsity.

Carpenter L. S., has been coaching the freshman crew lately.

It is said that Historian Bancroft left his oil paintings to Harvard.

R. B. Greenough, '92, has been obliged to go south on account of his health.

J. P. Younglove '91, won the pool tournament given by the University Club at Yale.

R. F. Clark, president of the B. A. A. has resigned and Henry Parkman has been elected in his place.

About twenty men are in training for the Princeton nine, seven of these being on last year's team.

Phillips Andover '89 will hold its first reunion and dinner sometime during the first week of March in Boston.

A new set of applicants has been admitted to Memorial, making in all about 175 since the beginning of the year.

The faculty and alumni of Phillips Exeter have requested the students not to employ Kelly as coach. Mack probably will be engaged.

The Yale Glee Club will take a trip during Easter Holidays giving concerts in Orange, N. J., Old Point Comfort, Washington, Philadelphia and Brooklyn.

At the next meeting of the Intercollegiate A. A. in New York, action will be taken as to the advisability of dropping the tug-of-war from the list of events.
