The Harvard Union has succeeded in obtaining the consent of Gov. Russell to preside at the joint debate with Yale. There will be no decision made on the merits of the debate; this is done at the request of the Yale Union as they said they could not get a member of their faculty to come up here. The committee in charge of the tickets will distribute them to the different members of the University in as fair and unprejudiced a way as is possible. No admission will be charged as the Union has raised $100 towards defraying the expenses of the debate.
