The college conference last evening was very well attended, considering the circumstance under which it took place. Those who were present listened with a great deal of pleasure to Dr. Herford's delightful talk on the difference between life in England and America. Dr. Herford especially asked that no detailed report of his lecture be made.
Williams, Amherst and Dartmouth will probably form a triple foot ball league.
Hereafter English B themes will be returned on the prescribed days in Grays 18, instead of Server 1.
On Thursday evening, President Eliot will deliver his last lecture in the Lowell Institute course.
The B. A. A. has offered three prizes for the open cross-country run on Christmas Day. Entries close Dec. 21.
R. D. Sears refereed the game between Latham and Pettit on Monday. The final result was a draw.
Wendell '74, Hale '79, Peale '88, Brewer '88, Trafford '89, Wolff '90, and Parker, Stead and Halliday '91, have been elected members of the Harvard Club of New York.
