President Eliot is to give a course of six ectures at the Lowell Institute.
The youngest college president in this country is F. A. Tourner, of Lincoln University, in Nebraska. He is twenty-nine years old, and is now filling his position for the third year.
On December 29 a college gathering will be held in Brooklyn. Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Cornell, Brown and others will be represented.
