Recitations will close Wednesday night and begin regularly Friday morning.

The University of Chicago has bought the stock of Calvary & Co., the well-known Berlin dealers in old books, forming a library of 289,000 volumes and 120,000 dissertations in all languages. Among these are 130,000 volumes of Greek and Roman Archaeology and classics, and 15,000 volumes of journals.

Smith College is to reproduce the "Passion Play." The music is imported as sung at Oberammerga and will be rendered by a chorus. Different scenes taken from the actual play will be given with the stereopticon.
