The officers of the B. A. A. should see that the hare and hounds runs are started sooner after half-past three o'clock. Nothing is gained by delaying the start until four o'clock. All the men who join the hunt are out of lectures by half-past three, and the start should be made ten, or at the most, fifteen minutes later. This would give considerable more time when there would be sufficient light to enable the hounds to follow the scent easily, and would make the runs more successful.
