At the annual Yale fall regatta on Lake Whitney, the freshmen of the Scientific School won the eight-oared shell race from the Academic freshmen easily in 4 minutes and 31 1-4 seconds. The rowing of the Scientific freshmen was the best ever done by a fall freshman crew. '93 won in a close eight-oared shell race from '94. The usual single scull race was abandoned, owing to the small number of entries.
