Andover, 10; '93, 4.

The junior class eleven went to Andover Saturday and were beaten by a score of 10 to 4. Andover had the ball at the start and went in with a rush, scoring within five minutes, before the '93 team waked up. The criss-cross, and running tackles tell the story. Hazen kicked the goal. After this however, Andover could not score again during the first half, in spite of a gift of twenty-five yards from the referee, who thought he saw a Harvard man make a foul tackle.

In the second half Andover scored again by bucking '93's centre and by several more five yards gifts from the referee. No goal. '93 now took the ball at the 25 yard line and worked it straight up the field, on rushes by Pike, Duffield and a beautiful run around the end by Thatcher, who scored the touch down. No goal.

This ended the scoring. On the whole '93's work was poor, especially in defense. They tackled high, allowing men to gain yards who should have been thrown at the very outset, and centre men rarely got row enough at any time.

The teams lined up as follows:

ANDOVER. HARVARD '93.
