The energy of the managements of the Glee, Banjo and Mandolin Clubs in making arrangements for their Christmas trip is most commendable. These organizations almost always set an example to other college societies in enterprise.
This year the prospects of a successful western trip are brighter than ever: the makeup of the clubs is especially excellent, and the itinerary is good. The college will regret that the clubs cannot give a performance in New York, but the shortness of the time at their disposal makes this impossible. It is understood that the Glee Club will sing more of the o d songs this year than for several years past. This is a step which the club has been gradually coming to, and one which will meet with the universal approval not only of the undergraduates, but of that alumni, who are always glad to hear the old airs again.
