VOCAL TRAINING - Students who expect to take courses in class with S. S. Curry, Instructor in elocution; or who wish to make appointments for individual instruction given free to all students are requested to attend the opening lesson on Tuesday, Oct. 6, at 9 a.m., in Holden Chapel, or to call there from 10-12:30 and 1:30-5 on that day. Hours will be assigned in the order of application.

GARRETT.HARVARD ROWING CLUB. - Until Oct. 17 the Secretary will keep the following office hours at his room, 3 Littles block, to receive dues and issue membership tickets: On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., and 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.; on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, 9 to 10 a.m. Men can also join at Thurston's, or at the boat house. Annual fee $5, payable strictly in advance. No one will be allowed to take out boats who has not shown the janitor a ticket for this year. On Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 6 and 7, the boat house will be thrown open for inspection to all members of the University.

Season tickets giving the holder the right to use any unoccupied court from October 1 to June 20, 1892, can now be bought of the man in charge of the courts for seven dollars. The tournament for the championship of the college begins Oct. 19.
