H. U. C. A. Meeting.

The secretary's and treasurers reports read at the meeting of the Harvard University Cycling Association last night showed a very successful year.

Starting last fall with a debt of $380, the association begins its work this year free from encumbrances.

The most important work last year was, perhaps, the development of new riders in the college. Among those who were brought out, four have beaten the inter-collegiate record, and one, G. F. Taylor. has within a few days broken the world's record for two miles, in the remarkable time of 4 min. 48 1-5 sec.

In view of the admirable work done by the association last year, it is to be hoped that the college will subscribe enough money to raise the corners of the track which now prevent very fast riding and last year caused several serious accidents.
