With such an eminently successful year behind it the college can look forward to the coming athletic work with considerable confidence. The forces which won us the victories are none the less strong now than then, and in foot ball we expect them to result in success. What we need most now is enthusiasm from every man in the university. Each man who is physically able should present himself as a candidate, and every other man should give the encouragement of his presence. At the captain's call many candidates presented themselves for practice almost a week earlier than last year. It is an encouraging sign and augurs well for the future. Harvard must win this fall. To do it the captain must have the help of every man in the university. It is by such unity that the victory is bound to come.
