Eight of the candidates for the Yale freshman crew have been dropped, and the 24 men left are divided into three crews, coached by Captain Brewster '91, Isham '91, and Simms '90 S. respectively.
The hours of instruction per week in the various colleges are: Harvard 270, Yale 119, Vassar 118, Columbia 110, University of Michigan 104, Cornell 84, Princeton 75, Amherst 72, and Trinity 65.- Yale News.
At the Princeton Junior promenade the decorations will be in pink and olive and the dance orders will be handsome souvenir card cases of dark brown leather with silver lettering. Before the dance a concert will be given by the Glee, Banjo and Mandolin clubs.
Professor Taussig was to have spoken on the "Silver Question" at a dinner of the Massachusetts Tariff Reform League this week, but his business in Washington prevented his doing so. It is hoped that when he returns the Tariff Reform League will offer the public another chance to hear him.
