The great benefit which the interests of football derived last year from the class elevens has induced the management to provide for the playing of another class series this year, and the great number of men who are at work daily on Norton's field proves the wisdom of the plan. But one fact is noticeable,- while the three lower classes have a great number of candidates out each day, there are not enough men trying for the senior team to form two elevens. It is hardly to the credit of the senior class that, with only one more chance for a class football championship, it is necessary to fill out the second eleven with under-classmen.
