The College Conference this evening will be the most interesting of the year, as it will give the students an opportunity to listen to a talk by President Eliot. Such opportunities have been rare of late years, but when they have occurred they have been all the more keenly appreciated. If anything could be added to make the occasion of greater interest it has been found in the subject, "The Choice of Studies." A talk by President Eliot on any subject would be sure to attract a large audience, but on this topic his words will be listened to with unusual attention. No student can have his choice of studies for the remainder of the term so absolutely determined that he will not be glad to receive advice from one better fitted to give it than any other officer or any instructor. The many men in doubt about one or two courses, or about their whole selection will be still more eager to attend the Conference tonight.
