The freshman banjo club has disbanded.

The mid-year make-up examination in German A will be held May 31 at 9.30 a. m., in Dane Hall.

The differences between Exeter and Andover academies have been settled, and the base ball game will be played at Andover probably on June 14.

The date of the cricket game between the Harvard and the University of Pennsylvania teams has been changed from June 4 to June 11.

The Southern Club has elected the following officers for the coming year: President, G. T. Quimby; vice-president, G. T. Goldthwaite; secretary, W. G. Brown; treasurer, G. Steedman.

Friday's scrub games, an account of which was crowded out of Saturday's CRIMSON, resulted as follows: The D. U. nine defeated the Volunteers 19 to 12. The Snowballs forfeited their game with the Foxcroft Club. The Bluejays beat the Clippers 20 to 1. The S. P.'s beat the Adams Academy nine at Quincy 14 to 7.

Mr. J. C. Morse of the Boston Herald, formerly on the CRIMSON, has issued his annual pocket size base ball book that will undoubtedly be of interest to collegians. It contains the schedules of the American College Base Ball Association, beside the schedules of the leading college nines for this season. The schedules of the major leagues are neatly arranged, and the appearance of the book is greatly enhanced by fine full page portraits sf the best professional players.
