The date of the first freshman game has finally been determined. The other date will be determined later. The evil of continuing on the old basis now becomes apparent. If the proposals of Harvard had been accepted it would not now be possible for the freshman series to remain undecided as it has for the past two years. There is very little satisfaction for either the Harvard or the Yale team if each wins one game and neither can claim the championship. The freshman games will never be as interesting as they ought to be until either one or three games complete the series.
