At the annual spring games of Yale College, Sherrill ran the 100 yards in 10 seconds. Williams, '91, ran the 220 yards hurdle race in 27 seconds, lowering the Yale record one-fifth of a second; he also tied the best Yale record for the 120 yards hurdle race, 16 2-5 seconds.

The sophomore nine protested last Wednesday's game with the freshmen, on the ground that Johnson in running to first, on third strike, interfered with the ball, which had been dropped by catcher. The game, however, was awarded to the freshmen in accordance with the umpire's decision that Johnson's interference was not intentional.
