The freshmen outplayed the sophomores on Jarvis yesterday afternoon, excelling especially in battery work. Their playing was steady and their batting clean and timely. Frothingham and Stone did very good work. If Bell had caught with more spirit the game might have been close instead of being too one-sided to be interesting. The score:
